Now, according to South Korean media Naver, the next generation of Galaxy S22 FE may suffer the same fate as its predecessors, and this cost-effective product may not be released this year.
The official reason for the postponement of the so-called Galaxy S22 FE is unknown, but the media explained that the reason may be that the firmware development of the so-called S22 FE has not yet begun, and the development team has not had any “AP-related” content related to the model.
In retrospect, in a similar situation, Samsung did not release the flagship model of the Galaxy Note in the second half of the year according to the original model. However, this is not conclusive evidence that the S22 FE model may never see the light. Since its FE series is an important product line that competes with mid-to-high-end models of other rival brands, Samsung is unlikely to take it off the shelves anytime soon. As a result, we expect it to still be released next year, if not later this year.
This is also because of the impact of the S21 FE, if Samsung releases two Galaxy FE models in a year, the perception of consumers will be more confused. Since the Galaxy S21 FE is officially released this year, releasing its successor in 2023 could be a good decision. However, since the number after the letter “S” represents the year it was released, it is a bit strange that this mismatch occurs.
