Finally, it’s here: VRR. Many Owners of a PlayStation 5 have been waiting for it since the market launch, but the variable refresh rate came and did not come. A few weeks ago then the information from Sony: The VRR function is coming very soon.
Yesterday it was announced that it will happen this week and lo and behold, from now on the PlayStation 5 can actually VRR – and without an update. Sony has activated this via the servers, presumably, the function has come with the last update.
you don’t need a new software update to enable VRR on the PS5. Just head into the display settings and enable it, as Sony flicked a switch to roll it out. If you don’t see the VRR option, reboot your PS5

So you should already encounter the VRR tab in the settings and if not, then restart your PlayStation 5. By the way, the first PS5 games are currently receiving the update, more games are to follow in the near future, according to Sony.
