The Nest Doorbell (Battery) also allows users to have 2-way conversations with visitors at their door from their Alexa-enabled devices (Echo, Echo Show, Fire TV, and Fire tablet), according to Google in the announcement.

Alexa will soon support announcements when one of these Nest Cams or Nest Doorbells detects someone at your front door. However, this can also vary from country to country with regard to individual functions. The corresponding help page can be found here, whereby an FAQ can also be found in the announcement.
