Samsung Galaxy Wearable app and Galaxy Buds Pro grabbed new firmware update

In recent years, Samsung has proved to be a guarantee on the software support front in the field of smartphones but not only. The Korean giant, in fact, has continued to update its wearables over time, improving their stability and adding new functions (see for example the updates for Tizen-based smartwatches).

Even the Samsung earphones, of course, fall within this policy: and today from South Korea comes the news of a firmware update for Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Wearable app.

As per the report, this software update comes on a build number R190XXU0AVD1 for the Galaxy Buds Pro and the size package of this update is around 2.2MB while the Galaxy Wearable App received the latest update with the new version number 2.2.48.22033061.

The latest Galaxy Buds Pro update improved the algorithm for battery charging and stability, along with the usual improvements to system stability and reliability. However, with the Galaxy Wearable App update, no new audio or smartwatch-related features were added with this new release, the latest version does bring a convenient auto-update option.

Galaxy Wearable users can set the app to update automatically using Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and/or mobile data. To do this: open the Wearable app, then tap the hamburger menu and access “About Galaxy Wearable.” With this new option enabled, you can rest easy knowing that your Galaxy device will run the latest-available Galaxy Wearable app at any given time.
