Google is currently distributing an innovation for Google Tasks, which can be used to specify when and whether there should be an end option for this repetition when creating a new recurring task.
So far, the variants “Never”, “On XY date” and “After XY days” can only be defined if you select the task that has already been created in Google Calendar and edit the entry accordingly.
Of course, this is much more convenient to do directly within tasks. The distribution of the function has already started and should then arrive for all users of Google Tasks within the next few days.
