Android 13 also arrives on Android TV

In the past few hours, the Mountain View giant has decided to allow developers to take a peek at the news coming to Android TV with the release of the first beta version of Android 13 for this platform.

Once again it is Mishaal Rahman who provides us with some interesting previews on Twitter. The developer posted the following screenshot, captured on an ADT-3 box:

According to what has emerged so far, with Android 13 revolutions should not be introduced on the Android TV platform but only an overall improvement of the general experience offered to users, thus following an evolutionary process that has been going on for some time now. ‘ of time.

Among the novelties, for example, there should be the improvement of the Picture-in-Picture (or PiP) mode with the support of different aspect ratios, a feature that with the first beta of Android 13 for Android TV has not yet been enabled.

And again, another novelty should be represented by an improvement in the management of standby autonomy but also in this case the Google developer team has decided not to enable it. Basically, to try the new features studied by Google for Android TV we will still need to be patient and the hope is that on the occasion of Google I / O 2022 the Mountain View giant will provide further details. We’ll see.
