2022 is taking shape as a real rollercoaster for OnePlus which continues undaunted, despite some hitches, to present new products, including smartphones and accessories, in India, China and also on the global market. According to the most recent rumors, the Chinese company should present the OnePlus Pad already in the second half of 2022.
The product, already involved in numerous previous leaks, would sanction OnePlus ‘s entry into the Android tablet market (although it must be said that related brands such as OPPO, Realme and Vivo, have already made their debut in the sector).
OnePlus Pad is being tested: check the code name
The rumors about the OnePlus Pad have been chasing each other for a few months now and the appearance of the brand on the website of the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) confirmed the intentions of OnePlus, with the tablet that would have already entered the phase of mass production.
Thanks to the usual leaker Yogesh Brar, we become aware of new information on the first and unpublished OnePlus branded tablet, namely that this is currently in the test phase and is internally indicated with the code name Reeves.
Sure, that’s not much more than what was already known, but this information adds another piece to the puzzle. Below, we report the technical specifications of the first Android tablet from OnePlus, so far leaked:

- Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC
- 6 GB of RAM
- 128GB of storage
- Dual rear cameras: 13MP + 5MP
- 8MP front camera
- 10090mAh battery with 45W fast charging support
- Fingerprint reader located on the side edge
- Input for the 3.5 mm audio jack
- Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1
- Support (optional) to 5G networks
As for the software, it is said that the OnePlus Pad will be marketed with Android 12L, the variant of Android 12 optimized for use through devices with generously sized (or particular) screens.
Not just tablets in OnePlus’ short-term plans
As anticipated, the OnePlus Pad could arrive as early as the second half of 2022; there is talk of a starting price of about 2999 yuan (or 427 € at current exchange rates) for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
In addition to the tablet, however, the company is focusing on the launch of two other devices, namely the OnePlus 10 and the OnePlus Watch 2. Furthermore, some rumors suggest that OnePlus wants to launch a Nord series device per month in the future.
