OnePlus Nord 2T unboxing and initial hands-on

The OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to be released in the Indian market later this month, but the official invitation letter has not been issued, and no official date has been announced. However, the YouTube channel Sahil Karoul has shared the unboxing and preliminary hands-on of the OnePlus Nord 2T in the latest video, providing evaluation content of appearance, specifications, GeekBench scores and camera samples.

The phone has a punch-hole front camera for the selfie camera, and the bezels are very slim. The power button and alert slider are on the right edge. The volume rocker is on the right. The speaker grille, USB Type-C port, main microphone and SIM card tray are all on the bottom edge.

The top section only has secondary noise reduction. On the back, the phone has two circular rings inside a large rectangular module. The top ring houses a large camera sensor, while the bottom ring houses two sensors. There are dual LED flashes. The frame appears to be made of plastic. The back panel appears to have a sandstone finish.

The OnePlus Nord 2T will feature a 6.43-inch FHD+AM OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300, an upgrade from the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The video shows that the phone will come in two variants. 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB storage. It runs on the OxygenOS 12 custom skin based on Android 12 out of the box.

The OnePlus Nord 2T managed to score 622,964 points in the AnTuTu app, which is a very good score for a mid-range phone. In the Geekbench app, it managed to score 719 points in the single-core round and 2760 points in the multi-core section. It can get 4638 points in 3DMark Wild Life. There is also Widevine L1 support.
