Although the official release date of Battlefield Mobile is not yet known, a series of clues gathered from the last meeting with the shareholders of Electronic Arts would have revealed an internal postponement of the project for portable devices.
During the meeting, in fact, a small space was also dedicated to the spin-off of Battlefield for Android and iOS, during which Andrew Wilson would have declared that the first tests of the shooter will start by the end of May 2022 and is based on the data that will be collected, it will be decided whether to launch the product worldwide by the end of the year or in the first months of 2023.
We can speak of postponement for the simple fact that in the announcement of Battlefield Mobile, which took place last September 2021, the publisher had confirmed that the Beta would arrive within the year and suggesting that the arrival on the market was not that far off. Probably the flop of Battlefield 2042 influenced the development of the mobile game, prompting the company to pay more attention to the quality of the product in order to avoid another failure for the brand.
We remind you that Battlefield Mobile will boast environmental destructibility, thus offering a very different type of gameplay compared to the last canonical chapter of the series. H
