This is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

Samsung will apparently update the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip in the second half of this year, possibly at its Unpacked event in August, as foldable phones gain acceptance. This year, we’ll see the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.

These products will arrive as the successors to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, which Samsung hopes will further cement the brand’s position as a benchmark in the field of folding-screen phones. Today OnLeaks brought first impressions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.

From the outside, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is almost identical to its predecessor, with some minor changes in size, and it will continue to use a narrower body, with the same clamshell form factor as its predecessor. When unfolded, you can see a tall flexible display with a punch-hole at the top for the selfie camera, a possibly optimized hinge, an aluminum frame, and a glass back.

The USB Type-C port, main microphone, SIM card tray section, and speaker grill are located on the bottom of the device. The power button cum fingerprint sensor and volume rocker are on the right. On the back, the Z Flip 4 has dual cameras, a secondary screen for the time, a music player, notifications, and more, and an LED flash.

Size aside, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be nearly identical to the Z Flip 3. The phone is said to feature a 6.7-inch display that measures around 165.1 x 71.9 x 7.2mm, and the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s specs are still under wraps, but we speculate it could feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip.
