Tesla FSD Beta will be available to all U.S. owners, sources say

Twitter user WholeMarsBlog revealed that Tesla FSD Beta will be open to all car owners in the United States, and this assisted driving system was originally planned to be released at the end of 2019.

Although the FSD Beta was delayed by almost three years, it looks fairly stable as it stands and works well for most terrains. Unfortunately, Tesla’s FSD Beta launch in the domestic market is still a long way off.

Elon Musk previously revealed that Tesla’s FSD test program currently has more than 100,000 drivers participating. Musk also said that Tesla will achieve full self-driving this year, and this time he is more confident.

When asked why Musk’s previous promise of a year or two to achieve full self-driving has not been achieved, Musk explained that in the self-driving project, there are many illusions like the end, Tesla’s fully autonomous the driving journey is a series of logarithmic curves, they sometimes make progress but then seem to hit a bottleneck and have to start all over again. However, it now appears that Tesla is on the right track.

Musk also said that in order to properly address fully autonomous driving, real-world artificial intelligence must be addressed. Elon Musk believes that under the current architecture, Tesla can improve the probability of a vehicle avoiding an accident compared to a human driver. He attributes his confidence in the new architecture to Tesla reaching a high-quality unified vector space for fully autonomous driving.
