Apple released Universal Controls to the public in macOS 12.3 in March, after the feature was absent for several months. However, the feature still retains the “beta” label as the company works to iron out bugs.

As spotted by Rene Ritchie, in the release candidate of macOS Monterey 12.4 on Thursday, the beta label has disappeared. This may be because the feature has been well received by users, with few major complaints about its performance or functionality.
