Google Messages is an application that is conquering more and more users and among the main reasons, there are also the numerous features that it can boast and which, it seems, will soon be even more.

In the code of the latest beta version of Google Messages, in fact, references to new functions have been found on which the team of developers is already working and which could soon be made available to all users.

The new features coming to Google Messages for Android

Recently Google has worked hard to make its various applications useful, “proactive” and designed to understand user data and organize them better and also for the messaging app, the Mountain View giant has decided to take this path.

Examples are represented by the categorization of conversations (with the distinction of personal ones from business ones) or the possibility of exploiting a rapid response system for incoming messages (with a remarkable ability to ensure relevance and accuracy with respect to the content of the message received ).

In the latest beta, the 9to5Google staff found references to a function that will suggest to users actions relevant to a particular message: for example, if the system believes that a certain message is important, it will suggest the user mark it with a star, so you can easily find it later. Another potential action mentioned is that relating to “planning for the moment”, although it is not clear what it will actually allow to do.

According to what is learned, the suggestions will be triggered by common things, such as dates and phone numbers that users may want to save for later use. There is currently no information on when these new features could be made available to all users.
