Halo Infinite: The new patch arrives, here’s what changes on PC and Xbox

Replying to the discontent expressed by the community at the launch of Season 2 Lone Wolves, the development team of 343 Industries has worked on a new patch dedicated to Halo Infinite thanks to which various aspects of the online multiplayer sector have been improved or corrected.

First, the issue where some assault rifles could jam due to a technical error has been fixed. After investigating the case, the team identified the cause of the problem and decided to undo the recent changes applied at the launch of Season 2. By doing this, the situation should have been resolved.

Among other new features, the “Skill Jump” was reintroduced due to popular demand by users, who were very disappointed by the previous removal of this feature. It is an extreme leap that players can make and that sometimes leads them to explore the map beyond its natural boundaries. Skill Jumps will again be available on the Life Fire, Bazar, Aquarius and Streets maps. The tank gun

is also making a return, which players will once again be able to find in the Tremonius outpost and use for the speedrunning of the campaign. In the patch notes, there are also improvements to general stability on PC and corrections of some bugs found in online multiplayer modes. 343 Industries has confirmed that the patch will arrive soon, but at the moment the definitive date has not been communicated.
