Google is rolling out the next update with a new function for its own Google TV app for Android phones. It’s just that German users will probably have to wait a little longer for it. Anyway, Google is now bringing “Highlights” to the Google TV app. So basically there are even more personalized suggestions.
However, it is not primarily about offering you new films or series. It’s about highlighting content for everything to do with film and television – based on your preferences. This includes videos and articles from the web. If you look very closely, you will also see another conversion within the app. Google reorganizes the tabs.

The new app version has a pure highlights tab. Where the home page used to be. In the second tab “For you” there are probably above all recommendations. In the third tab you can still rent and buy content. “Your content” will include a watch list and media library.
