Today it’s that time again and new products from OnePlus are coming up. One thing is certain: it is about portfolio growth for the North series. It is already known that it will be about the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and also the OnePlus Nord Buds.
All sorts of information about the upcoming products are already known as part of leaks and the OnePlus marketing strategy. There should hardly be any gaps left, OnePlus even showed the design (see article picture) in advance. It is already clear that OnePlus has chosen the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 as the SoC for the Nord 2T. Quite plausible, because the OnePlus Nord 2 was operated as the predecessor of the 2T with the previous chipset generation. The Nord 2T will be available in Jade Fog and Gray Shadow colors. The former is glossy, and the latter is matte, but both have Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. OnePlus is again marketing the Nord 2T as a “flagship killer”.
In addition, the Nord 2T should start at a price of 399 euros. The processor has either 8 or 12 GB RAM available – depending on the memory variant of 128 GB or 256 GB (UFS 3.1). The AMOLED screen on the front measures 6.43 inches (approx. 16 cm) with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
In addition, there is a triple camera on the back with 50 (wide-angle, Sony IMX766, OIS) + 8 Sony IMX355, ultra-wide-angle) plus depth sensor with 2 megapixels. On the front again 32 megapixels (IMX 615). As with the OnePlus 10 Pro, the 4,500 mAh battery should be able to be recharged as quickly as possible with 80 watts.
The OnePlus Nord 2 Lite 5G, on the other hand, should already be available for 299 euros. Of course, you have to make compromises when it comes to equipment. With a display diagonal of 6.59 inches (approx. 17 cm), an LC display with 120 Hz is on the slips of the leaks.
The Nord 2 Lite is to be operated by the Snapdragon 695 as an SoC – 5G is also at the start. There should be 6 GB of working memory and 128 GB (UFS 2.2) of memory that can be expanded using a micro SD card.
There is also a triple camera on the back if you can scold it as such: 64 (wide angle) + 2 (depth sensor) + 2 (macro) megapixels. The front has 16 megapixels. The 5,000 mAh battery can be charged with 33 watts.
