Sony Android TV: Firmware update to version 6.7205 against restarts and more

Sony has released a firmware update to version 6.7205 of its software for Android TV devices. The update applies to a major swing of the KD series. Sony offers two update options, automatic and manual. The easiest way to receive software updates is to use the Automatic Software Download feature. This setting is enabled by default.

If owners have Automatic Software Download enabled, they will automatically receive a notification to update their TV. In addition to the January Android TV security patch, the update also fixes an issue where the TV randomly restarts. Therefore: Just have a look at whether your update is already on it or is waiting for installation.
