Xiaomi will be a new one tomorrow we introduce the Band, the Xiaomi Band 7 is coming up and will be presented at a Redmi event in China. This was officially confirmed last week and since then, as expected, new press photos have been released.
Xiaomi builds a larger battery in the band
There are also new details, which on the one hand come from official ones, but the packaging has already appeared, which also gives details. So we learn that the battery grows to 180 mAh. Unfortunately, Xiaomi does not mention any battery life yet.
The display will be a little bigger, that’s already been revealed, maybe the battery will just make up for it. There is also permanent SpO2 monitoring, which also costs battery, so I’m guessing about the same battery life.
Xiaomi advertises better training data and a new sports index, and NFC is also mentioned. However, that does not have to mean that we will also see NFC in Europe because the NFC version of the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 did not come after all.
So there aren’t really that many innovations, the focus will be on the new and larger OLED display with always-on function. New watch faces are also planned. That’s probably it for us for the time being, we won’t report on the announcement until tomorrow – don’t expect any details for Germany.
