iOS 15.5 Wallet App now supports Apple Account Cards

Apple should recently updated the Wallet application, allowing users to add Apple Account Card, showing the Apple credit card balance associated with the Apple ID.

If a user receives an App Store or Apple Store gift card, the latter is added to an Apple account that was previously visible in the App Store and Apple Store apps. Apple account balances can also be added to new cards in the Wallet app starting today.

Users who want to add cards need to open the wallet app and click “Add Apple Account” under “Available Cards”. Once added, users can view their Apple account balance directly from the Wallet app and use it to buy Apple products, apps, games and music.

MacRumors points out that the Apple Account Card, which replaces the iTunes Pass that was available long ago, can now be added to devices running iOS 15.5 or later.
