Returnal: PC version coming soon? The game appeared on SteamDB codenamed “Oregon”

A PC version of Returnal appears to be in the pipeline. As reported in the ResetEra threads, the page dedicated to a game codenamed “Oregon” has appeared on SteamDB, which includes a series of references to Housemarque’s exclusive PS5.

By accessing the page in question and visiting the “History” section you can find in the list of changes a series of rather obvious references to Returnal, such as “Atropos” (the planet where the game is set), “Co-Op” and “Daily Challenge” (both present in the game) and “Tower of Sisyphus” (ie the Tower of Sisyphus introduced with an update a few months ago ). In the tags instead, we find terms like “Third-Person Shoot”, “Sci-Fi”, “Rogue-like”, “Shooter”, “Female Protagonist” and “Third Person”, just to name a few, which fit perfectly with Returnal.

For the moment there is nothing official yet, but this SteamDB page would seem to confirm the arrival of a PC version of Returnal in the near future. Among other things, the game was also included in the famous Nvidia leak list. But to know for sure we just have to wait for confirmation from Sony PlayStation and Housemarque.

After all, Sony expects big growth for the future with regards to PlayStation Studios games published on PC, so it is reasonable to expect the arrival of other PS5 and PS4 exclusives on Steam and/or Epic Games Store.
