Konami is already looking to the future after the 1.1.0 update of eFootball 2022 and has already planned all the news coming in the coming months, including free updates and paid content.
What is in the pipeline was illustrated through a thread on Twitter, which reveals all the details on what the Japanese studio is preparing for eFootball 2022:
Free content
- The Lobby Match will arrive after summer 2022 and will allow players to create rooms online and compete against each other using their own Dream Team squads.
- Editing functions will be made available in winter 2022
- Also in winter 2022, the Cross-Play between console and PC will finally arrive
Paid content
- Towards the end of 2022, the number of teams that can be used in leagues and the number of general teams available will increase
- The debut of the Master League is expected in 2023
Little by little, therefore, Konami’s football title will become increasingly rich and full-bodied, in an attempt to meet the needs of the public who were not very satisfied with the initial offer put in place by the Japanese team.
Konami is nevertheless listening to user feedback, and the future contents in the program are in fact the result of the voices heard. The team promises to continue on this path, with the implementation of further updates based on the feedback received.
