Sony’s PS4 exclusive masterpiece Marvel’s Spider-Man released in 2018 will launch a remake and land on the PC platform on August 12, 2022. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remake includes the game itself and 3 DLCs. In addition, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles will also land on the PC platform this fall.
According to the official introduction, players will take on the role of seasoned Peter Parker, battling iconic villains in New York. Meanwhile, Peter struggles to balance his chaotic personal life and career, while the fate of New York rests on his shoulders.
The PC version porting work is in charge of Nixxes Software previously acquired by Sony. In the U.S. market, Marvel’s Spider-Man is one of Sony’s most successful games ever, with more than 20 million copies sold worldwide. Microsoft had the opportunity to win this IP before, but at the time Microsoft chose to refuse.
