With this update, users can give positive or negative ratings and upload photos of themselves based on their experiences at certain locations. The rating system in Apple Maps has been rolled out in the US and Canada since last year. Users can also use the previous external rating system in the app. Additionally, Apple Maps integrates with travel planning and rating apps like Tripadvisor, Yelp, and Foursquare.
