Horizon Forbidden West: How does the graphics improve with the new patch? The video comparison

In addition to showing Horizon Call of the Mountain for the first time in action for PlayStation VR 2, Sony has again given space to Horizon Forbidden West during its latest appointment with the State of Play.

The huge patch packaged by Guerrilla Games has introduced numerous new content for its open-world action-adventure, including the New Game Plus, the Ultra Hard mode and much more.

The update also added some graphic improvements dedicated to the Performance mode that can be activated on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.

The well-known channel ElAnalistaDeBits did not miss the opportunity to carry out a video analysis with which it highlighted the visual differences after this update.

As explained in the video that you can see at the beginning, the new patch removes the unpleasant shimmering effect previously reported on PS4 Pro and PS5 in performance mode.

This results in a noticeable improvement in image quality, particularly with regard to particle effects, making performance mode on PS5 the best option for gaming in the YouTuber’s opinion.

Graphics options and performance remain the same as in version 1.13, as does the quality of Fidelity mode. However, we know that the development team is working on a further patch that will introduce support for VRR and 40fps.
