Forza Horizon 5 will soon receive the first expansion in DLC, apparently dedicated to Hot Wheels, based on what has been leaked on Steam, which has shown the content in question before due, probably anticipating the announcement at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase.
On this page (as long as it remains active) you can see the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-on Package which contains, among other things, the game’s Expansion 1, evidently inspired by Hot Wheels.
It is therefore a return to the collaboration that we had already seen in Forza Horizon 3, since the latter had already obtained, for the first time, a DLC dedicated to the famous Mattel toy cars.
The old Hot Wheels expansion of Forza Horizon 3 remains in fact one of the funniest views for the arcade racing series in question, although many would probably have expected a different and unprecedented setting, given that so far there had been no repetitions. among the special collaborations.
In fact, we remember that Forza Horizon 4 had received an interesting Lego-themed expansion, but obviously, Playground Games wanted to recover the crazy spirit and the adrenaline-pumping gameplay of the Hot Wheels expansion of the third chapter with new contents and formulas also arriving for Forza Horizon 5.
We can’t take the issue as 100% official yet, but it’s clear that this is a very likely leak as it comes directly from the Steam catalog. In any case, the announcement should take place during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase on Sunday 12 June 2022, with other possible demonstrations also in Microsoft’s second presentation event, the Xbox Game Showcase Extended on June 14.
