Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will make an appearance during the Summer Game Fest. The event will air on June 9, 2022, at 20:00 Italian time. The information was shared via the official Summer Game Fest Twitter account, as you can see below.
The tweet states: “Tomorrow, Street Fighter 6 joins the Summer Game Gest. Don’t miss the announcement of a character and the new gameplay during the indirect event. Streaming at 20:00 CEST at summergamefest.com”.

We know that the Summer Game Fest will mostly focus on well-known games – we shouldn’t expect too many completely new announcements. We have confirmation that One Piece Odyssey, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, The Callisto Protocol and Gotham Knights will be present among others.
As for Street Fighter 6, we have already seen the simplified control scheme, compared with the classic one. In addition, we can review the trailer with the release period from the State of Play of June 2022.
