Word comments on web pages get like function

If you want to be happy with the comments of other users in Word on the web, now Microsoft has officially proposed a new feature. You no longer have to press “+1” to agree with a comment, this has now been replaced by an upvote button, which is basically the “like” feature you’d find in Teams.

To use it, open a document that already contains comments. You can then react to existing comments or add new ones using the “Like” button in the top right corner of the comment box. Likes can even be removed by tapping the “Like” button again. As you might expect, hovering over the “Like” button also shows who else “liked” the comment, with real-time updates.

Unfortunately, at this time, those who might be using Word on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android won’t see the comment response. Microsoft says the product team is working to bring this feature to other platforms as soon as possible. This feature is rolling out to Word for Web, and you should see it soon.
