Apple has lowered the stocking of iPhone 14/Max parts and the use of the old A15 chip will affect sales

Apple will launch four iPhone 14 models this fall. According to the Weibo tipster Mobile Chip Daren, Apple believes that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max that use the old processor A15 may not be very popular, and they have repaired the stock of these two mobile phone components.

According to Credit Suisse Research, referring to the impact of the epidemic on the iPhone 14, the report stated: “Our inspection shows that the production plan for the iPhone 14 remains unchanged, but the initial production volume will be lower, possibly due to the production of certain models. Delays or some parts/chip shortages. We think overall production orders for new models will be the same as last year, but the final output may vary due to supply disruptions.

It was previously reported that Apple is not expected to launch the iPhone 14 mini this year. Instead, Apple plans to launch 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. Barring any major disruptions to the supply chain, the devices will be announced at Apple’s usual September event.

As previously rumored, two features expected to be exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models are an upgraded 48-megapixel rear camera and an A16 chip. Standard iPhone 14 models are expected to stick with the A15 chip.
