Microsoft’s new Outlook for Windows hits Windows 11 store

Microsoft’s new version of Outlook for Windows has been put on the Windows App Store, and developers can try it out. The new version of the Outlook app adapts to Windows 11’s fluent Design and supports transparent/translucent effects of Mica and Acrylic materials.

In addition to the new exterior design, Microsoft has added features like My Day to the app, allowing you to help you stay connected to important topics while you work. Plus, you can easily drag and drop messages as tasks into your to-do list, or better manage tasks in your calendar.

The project is called “Project Monarch”, and this new Outlook has been in development for more than a year. This is a reboot of the web app to unify all existing Windows email clients such as Mail and Calendar as well as the desktop version of Outlook.
