Gears of War Collection for Xbox and PC doesn’t actually exist, according to Jez Corden

According to Jez Corden, a reporter for Windows Insider, the Gears of War Collection will not only not be present at tomorrow’s Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, but it doesn’t even exist at all.

Responding to a user on Twitter, who asked for clarification regarding an Idle Sloth post (according to which Corden had stated that the collection will not be presented at the Microsoft event tomorrow), the journalist wanted to clarify the matter, declaring that his notice there is no Gears of War Collection.

In short, Corden, who as we know has more than one source within the Xbox Studios, has not heard any rumor that confirms the existence of a collection with the games of the Gears of War series.

The indiscretion was launched last month by Nick Baker, according to which the Gears of War Collection would be released already during the course of 2022. It’s not the first time the two have disagreed, as they also have conflicting opinions on the Xbox console exclusivity of MachineGames’ Indiana Jones game.

However, it is useless to worry too much about which of the two is right, since in a few hours we will discover the truth: the appointment with the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase is set at 19:00 tomorrow, Sunday 12 June.
