Overwatch 2 will be free-to-play, early access release date and trailer from the Xbox Showcase

During the course of the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022, Blizzard presented a new trailer for Overwatch 2, announcing that the shooter will be a free-to-play title. Not only that, the release date in early access was also unveiled, set for October 4, 2022, for PC, Xbox Series X | S and One, but remember that the game is also scheduled for PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

In the video, we see some of the community’s prefeirity heroes in action, such as Soldier-76, Tracer, Zenyatta, Winston and new-entry Soujorn.

Not only that but the Junkertown Queen was also featured, which we briefly saw in action in the trailer presented at the Xbox Showcase. The character had already been revealed in the past thanks to some leaks, but now the official confirmation has finally arrived in her entry into the Overwatch 2 roster.

Overwatch 2 is a team-based multiplayer shooter. It includes an arcade and competitive 5v5 PvP modes, as well as a PvE component that is yet to be focused on and which we hope to receive more information about in the coming months.
