Google optimize Calendar Item Mail: Get a Clearer View of the Schedule

On Monday, Google announced an update to email content involving Google Calendar items to make it look more modern and highlight important information. Google says that if the organizer updates an item, the new design will also display the old information.

For example, if a calendar item is rescheduled from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, users can see the old 1:00 message crossed out, giving you a better understanding of what’s going on with your schedule. Google will also tell you at the top when an event has changed, so you can instantly know what to watch.

Google says the change should roll out to everyone by the end of the month. While those who manage their calendars through third-party tools like Fantastical or Outlook may not get these improvements, for those using the Gmail web interface, it should be a nice little quality improvement.
