Another lawsuit, Samsung accused by US companies of Galaxy S21 infringing 5 wireless communication patents

A few days ago, MIMO Research filed a lawsuit in the Eastern District Court of Texas, accusing Samsung Electronics of infringing five patents in the field of wireless communications.

According to Korean media businesskorea, MIMO Research has classified the Samsung Galaxy S21 series of smartphones as infringing devices, and the patents involved include multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication devices, dual-mode ultra-wideband wireless LAN communication, and other wireless communication methods.

MIMO Research pointed out in the lawsuit that Samsung Electronics intentionally infringed its own patents in the commercialization, marketing, sales, distribution, testing, and service of products.

MIMO Research is currently seeking a declaratory judgment from the court.
