Dark Souls: Video shows a VR mod in action, from the creator of the Elden Ring VR mods

Luke Ross, a well-known creator of VR mods for games such as Elden Ring, GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn, is now working on a VR mod for Dark Souls. The mod was shown by a video from Beardo Benjo, YouTuber. You can see the video above.

The Dark Souls VR mod allows it is easy to guess, explore and fight playing in the first person, through an augmented reality viewer. The game mechanics are unchanged. Being a purely technical mod, it’s credible that there are parts of the game that are difficult to tackle with this visual and fights that are harder than they should be, but it’s also part of the appeal of these mods.

In order to access the Dark Souls mod (or all the others, including that of Elden Ring ) you must be registered on Ross’s Patreon. There is currently no release date for the Dark Souls VR mod, but on average Ross is quick enough to apply the “VR paint” to his chosen games.

Tell us, do you like the idea of playing Dark Souls in VR, or do you think it makes little sense since the game was designed to be played with a normal third-person camera?
