Netflix Mobile Game downloaded 13 million times worldwide

Today Sensor Tower released a new report saying that streaming platform Netflix’s mobile game offerings have reached 13 million downloads worldwide to date.

Netflix launched its gaming service on Google Play and the Apple App Store in November 2021. At the time, the platform’s lineup consisted of just five games, while Netflix’s game library now includes 24 of its released mobile games.

Sensor Tower went on to say that the most downloaded games were Stranger Things: 1984, Asphalt Xtreme for Princess, and Stranger Things 3: The Game. The streaming service has been active in its gaming division’s business operations during 2022.

In March, Netflix named Roberto Barrera, formerly of PlayStation, as its new head of game strategy. It also acquired Next Games, developer of Stranger Things: Puzzle Story, and Boss Fight Entertainment, developer of Dungeon Boss.
