Overwatch 2: Registrations for the closed beta are open, here’s how to sign up

Blizzard has opened registration for the closed beta of Overwatch 2, which will take place on June 28th and will allow you to try the renewed 5v5 PvP of the hero shooter, as well as two new heroes, before the official debut of the game, scheduled for October 4th.

Subscriptions to the Overwatch 2 closed beta are available on the game’s official website at this address. Once you have entered the dedicated page you will have to choose the platform on which you intend to play (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.

No beta instead for Nintendo Switch) and then click on “Request access to the beta”, to which you will be prompted to log in with your Blizzard account if you have not done so before. Once this step is complete you should receive an email with the code to download the beta client a few days before the servers open.

In the closed beta of Overwatch 2 it will be possible to try the new heroes Sojourn and the Queen of Junker, the reworks of Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion and Sombra, fight in the new Push mode and try the new Ping system.

There will also be the maps Paraiso (hybrid), Circuit Royal (Transport), Midtown (hybrid), New Queen Street (Spinta), and Colosseo (Spinta). Will you try to participate in the Overwatch 2 closed beta, or will you wait for the full game directly?
