WhatsApp

The team of WhatsApp developers continues to work tirelessly to improve this popular multi-platform instant messaging service and this does not only concern the applications dedicated to Android and iOS devices but also the version dedicated to Windows devices.

Well, in the past few hours the WhatsApp team has started the release of the feature that allows you to pause and restart the voice notes in the beta app of the Universal Windows Platform.

A welcome change for WhatsApp for Windows Beta

It seems that this novelty was introduced with version 2.2223.11.70 of WhatsApp Beta for Windows, thus allowing desktop users to benefit from a function already available on mobile applications and which was particularly appreciated.

As you can see in the following screenshot, a new pause button appears when you are recording a voice note (in the previous version there was a button that allowed the user to stop recording):

Basically, users can also on Windows pause the recording of a voice note, listen to it again and restart playback or delete or send it. According to what is learned, this functionality is available for beta users with version 2.2223.11.70.
