The German Tesla user drove 1.61 million kilometers in 8 years and set a world record, he changed 8 motors

Ordinary family cars, I am afraid that a large part of them will be replaced before 100,000 kilometers. However, this car has run for 1.61 million kilometers, and it is also a pure electric car Tesla Model S P85.

The owner of the car, Hansjörg Gemmingen from Germany, which he bought in 2014 (reportedly still second-hand), has finally achieved the 1 million miles (about 1.609 million kilometers) feat, which he expects to be certified by the Guinness Book of World Records.

During these 8 years, Hansjörg has fulfilled his dream of driving 20,000 kilometers around Europe and proved that trams can run in all weather conditions. However, Hansjörg also admitted that his affection for the Tesla brand is running out, due to frequent motor failures.

The 1.61 million kilometers were completed by changing the battery three times and 8 motors, and Hansjörg found that the first original motor when he bought the car ran 778,000 kilometers, and the later ones were far less durable.

Coupled with Tesla’s reluctance to cooperate with him on repairs, Hansjörg has already planned to replace it with a Lucid Air to complete the new feat of driving an electric car for 2 million kilometers.
