Motorola Razr 3 is expected to launch next month with 2800mAh capacity battery

As the successor to the Razr 5G released in 2020, Motorola is expected to launch the Razr 3 next month. Unlike previous models that are positioned in the mid-range, the Razr 3 will be positioned at the high-end market, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an improved hinge design. Digital Chat Station revealed that the Razr 3 will be equipped with a 2800mAh capacity, the same as the Razr 5G.

The Motorola Razr 3 is said to feature the same 2800mAh battery as its predecessor. Since the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, we can surmise that the battery capacity is modest due to throttling issues. That’s also significantly lower than the rumored 3595mAh battery on the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4.

The Motorola Razr 3 is said to feature an FHD+ AM OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a secondary screen on the back. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chipset with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. The phone will likely boot the Android 12 operating system out of the box.

The Motorola Razr 3 is said to have dual cameras on the back, a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide lens that can also be used as a macro. The phone is said to house a 32MP lens in a hole-punch cutout on the front for selfies and video chats. The Motorola Razr 3 will be available in Quartz Black and Serenity Blue.
