PlayStation: Sony plans Inzone headsets and gaming monitors

Sony is likely to have planned a PlayStation event next week, which will have a very large focus on new hardware. We’ve heard that a new Pro Controller is in the works, but the PlayStation team has more to show.

The PlayStation team is planning three new headsets

This will reportedly include three new gaming headsets: Inzone H3, Inzone H7 and Inzone H9. This is Sony’s new gaming brand that designs devices “perfect for the PlayStation”. In all cases, these are wireless headsets.

All three models have 360-degree sound, H3 is for beginners, H7 has the best battery life and is the middle class and H9 is the flagship with ANC. There are two sources for the headsets, Tom Henderson for XputerE and then OnLeaks for 91mobiles, so there are also first press photos (here is the H9):

We don’t have any pictures of the monitors yet, they should also come with Inzone branding and be “perfect for the PlayStation 5”. Both Sony models come with HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode.

One monitor has a 4K resolution with 144 Hz and HRD600, the other model comes with FHD with 240 Hz and HDR400, and both support VRR. There are also special gaming features, such as the (optional) FPS display while playing.

We don’t have any prices for the new hardware yet.

Sony hasn’t announced an event for next week yet, but it’s also rumored that we’ll get the details regarding God of War Ragnarök at the end of June. Sounds like there’s a very big PlayStation event coming up soon.
