Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are much more beautiful than PS5, according to a survey organized by the famous forum ResetEra to understand which are the current generation consoles with the most pleasant design. Here are the results:
- Xbox Series S: 798 votes, 39.6% of the votes
- Xbox Series X: 702 votes, 34.8% of the votes
- Nintendo Switch OLED: 410 votes, 20.3% of the preferences
- PS5 Digital Edition: 252 votes, 12.5% of preferences
- PS5: 202 votes, 10% of preferences
- Nintendo Switch Lite: 77 votes, 3.8% of the preferences
- Nintendo Switch: 76 votes, 3.8% of the preferences
You have certainly noticed that the total percentage of votes exceeds 100%: this is because the users who participated in the survey (2,015 people) could express up to two preferences.
That PS5 has a divisive design is in fact a theme that is addressed since the reveal of the console, which adopts a style probably inspired by neo-futurism and boasts extremely generous dimensions due to a bulky dissipation system.
Xbox Series X and S, for their part, have instead immediately attracted the sympathies of users due to the extremely minimal design, in the case of the most powerful model, the son of innovative and interesting engineering choices, on all the motherboard folded on itself.
In any case, in the ranking, we also see the Nintendo Switch OLED model rather well placed, the latest version of the hybrid platform of the Japanese house, equipped with a much-improved dock and some other visual features compared to the original, which instead collected very few votes.
