Razr 3 (or 2022) is among the most anticipated smartphones of this period. After all, rumors confirm that it will be a device that will maintain, yes, the distinctive features of the historic Razr series, but that will bring important aesthetic and hardware improvements, finally making it a real top range after the two predecessors Razr and Razr 5G they had been placed within the mid-range.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform looks really promising, as does the large 6.7 “(instead of 6.2”) display and 50 + 13MP dual external camera. But there is something that is sure to make someone turn up their noses: the battery.
If – and we underline if – the rumor coming from China were to be confirmed by the facts, Moto Razr 2022 could be equipped with the same battery as the previous model. Better than the 2,510mAh of the Razr 2019, but the 2,800mAh of the Razr 5G seem to be very few, insufficient to guarantee intense use without charging anxiety.
Of course, form factors, brands and technical characteristics change, but let’s try to understand which batteries have been selected by the brands for their leaflets:

- Moto Razr 5G: 2.800mAh
- Galaxy Z Fold 2: 4.500mAh
- Galaxy Z Fold 3: 4.400mAh
- Galaxy Flip 5G: 3.300mAh

- Oppo Find N: 4.500mAh
- Mate Xs 2: 4.600mAh
Among these, the most comparable models in terms of size (and therefore for space in which to house the battery) and characteristics are certainly Galaxy Flip 5G and Galaxy Z Flip 3 . 3,300mAh are not many, but they are still 500mAh more than what we could find under the body of the Moto Razr 2022. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will certainly be more energy efficient than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but it is not said that this is enough to guarantee sufficient autonomy.
Chat Digital Station – he is the leaker who shared these new details – also says that Moto Razr 2022 will have a central hole in the internal display to accommodate the 32MP cam. In summary, here is what was revealed:
