Galaxy S22 likes to mention Android 13: Android 16 can be upgraded in the future

The Galaxy S22 is a small-screen flagship released by Samsung in February this year. It has a screen size of 6.1 inches and is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 flagship processor. It is currently a rare Snapdragon 8 small-screen mobile phone.

The phone comes pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system, and now it is about to receive the Android 13 update. According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is beta testing Android 13.

The report pointed out that the Galaxy S22 Android 13 version number tested internally by Samsung is S906NKSU2ZVF6, which is expected to start public testing in July, and the new Android 13 will arrive with Samsung OneUI 5.0.

It is worth noting that Samsung confirmed that it will provide 4 years of Android major version updates and 5 years of security updates for the Galaxy S22 series, which means that the Galaxy S22 will not only be upgraded to Android 13 but will also be upgraded to the Android 16 operating system in the future.

At present, apart from Google, Samsung is the only mobile phone brand in the Android camp that has provided 4 years of major version updates and 5 years of security updates.
