A year ago, AMD released the first Radeon Software driver without official Windows 7 support. Starting with version 21.6.1, the latest AMD drivers can only be run on Windows 10 and newer.

Nonetheless, sometimes AMD releases unscheduled updates aimed at fixing specific issues or security vulnerabilities in unsupported products. Today, AMD released the 22.6.1 driver update for Windows 7, which has long been discontinued.
