The integrated search allows you to search for apps and web content, also has various search shortcuts for YouTube, settings, etc. and even allows you to place search queries as shortcuts on the start screen.

I also like that it’s now more functionally similar to the home screen’s search bar. In my opinion, this was an absolutely necessary change.

But of course, there can be different opinions on this. Other users may see this differently than I do. That’s why Google launched a poll for Android 13 beta users to find out people’s opinions. It’s about different things, but also about the Pixel Launcher in the latest version.

The questions include, for example, whether users use the search bar in the app start menu at all or rather use the search bar on the start page. And they want to know if and how useful we find the new search bar. In the remaining questions, Google wants to find out how users feel about the switch from Android 12 to 13.
Android 13 will start in the final version in late summer. There is still a little time to respond to user feedback. But you don’t have much longer. Pixel customers will only have the next options with the next Pixel Feature Drop, of which the first Android 13 version should be available in December.
