Gurman: Apple is planning M2 Mac mini, M2 Extreme Mac Pro

In the latest issue of Bloomberg Power On a column, Mark Gurman outlined Apple’s future product line. On the Mac side, Mark Gurman mentioned the new Mac mini with the M2 and M2 Pro chips, the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with the M2 Pro and M2 Max, and the new Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra and the new “M2 Extreme” chip.

After the M2 chip, Apple will launch a 13-inch MacBook Air with an M3 chip, a new 15-inch MacBook Air, a new iMac, and a new 12-inch model. In addition, Apple is planning a new Apple TV with an A14 chip and 4GB of RAM, a new HomePod and Apple Watch Series 8 with an S8 chip, an AR/VR device that may have an M2 chip and 16GB of RAM, an iPad Pro model with an M2 chip, a New low-end iPads with A14 chips and USB-C, new AirPods Pro, and more.

Gurman said the new HomePod will be closer to the original in size and feature an updated display on top of the speaker. Gurman also expects Apple to release larger iPads in the next two years, ranging in size from 14 inches to 15 inches.
