The Sony Xperia 1 III is now getting the June 2022 update in Germany. The new security update with the designation 61.1.A.9.128 is now available for users to download.
Sony has upgraded the build version to version number 61.1.A.9.128. Again, Sony hasn’t released a changelog, so it’s difficult to figure out what has changed. It can be assumed that these are small performance improvements and bug fixes.
You can download the update now, it should have been offered to you already. You should probably turn on WiFi for downloading, better safe than sorry. And of course, don’t forget to back up your personal data beforehand!
As always, this firmware update with the June 2022 patch 61.1.A.9.128 will be distributed to users in waves, and the update should then reach all Sony Xperia 1 III users in the next few hours and days.
