As we well aware of the fact that the services offered by the Google are endless in many aspects without any second choice though, every new version offered by google makes the life of android phone users easier day by day through its enhanced versions of software and updates both for new and existing devices.
So here we are going to discuss Google’s own home brand device which already created an intense hype in the smartphone industry these days and which is none other than Pixel 7 & 7 Pro.
This article will give you a crisp idea about everything you need to know about the Google Pixel 7 series, both things that are confirmed by the company and what leaks and rumors are pointing towards. Also we have done some comparative analysis with respect to its predecessor i.e. Pixel 6 & 6 Pro and other competitors of the same category.
After that we have a wish list containing the main features and upgrades that we want the Pixel 7 (and Pixel 7 Pro) to offer, in order to make them the best phones possible.
Google Pixel 7: Cut to the chase
What is it? The next pixel flagship offered by Google.
When it was announced? On May during Google I/O 2022 developer conference.
When is it out? Probably in the last quarter of the year 2022
How much will it cost? Competitive to its rivals, it might well fall roughly in line with the Pixel 6 range. The standard model of that starts at $599 / £599 / AU$999, while the Pixel 6 Pro starts at $899 / £849 / AU$1,299.
Tensor 2 to be a step behind
The basic differentiator between pixel 6 from all pixels even from other android phones is the inclusion of a Google Tensor chip which enhanced many machine learning powered features, now first reveal that come out for Pixel7 series is unsurprisingly addition of second generation google tensor chip with model ‘GS201’
We already know plenty about Pixel 7 series and thanks to Google own disclosure, also we got the idea from the previous leaks that the design going be the same as pixel 6, as it also packed with a large camera block on the back just like the Google Pixel 6 Pro. This appears again to be a triple-lens camera, but this time around two of the lenses (likely the wide and ultra-wide) are grouped together, with a periscope lens off on its own to the right.
Some source suggests that the screen sizes could be 6.3 inches and 6.7 inches for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro respectively. The former would therefore be slightly smaller than the 6.4-inch Pixel 6.
Storage and Color options
There could be a choice of 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage in the standard Pixel 7, and color choices of black, coral, blue or white.
Mystery behind cloudripper
So, Cloudripper could be the SoC of Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, which is the second version of the Tensor chipset already in use on Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, which had the codename “Slider”.
More rumors reveals that Tensor 2 powered phones having the code names Cheetah (for the Pixel 7) and Panther (for the Pixel 7 Pro) respectively.
