Xiaomi 12S Ultra is out of DXOMark

Today, Xiaomi announced that the three models of the Xiaomi Mi 12S series will be released on July 4. These three models are Xiaomi Mi 12S, Xiaomi Mi 12S Pro and Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra, all of which are Leica Imaging flagships.

One of the most talked-about is the Mi 12S Ultra, a high-end flagship that represents a new level of mobile imaging and was jointly developed by Leica and Xiaomi.

Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, and chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group said that the cooperation between Xiaomi and Leica was initiated by Leica. Lei Jun also revealed that this time the Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra will not be sent to test DXOMARK.

Previously, Xiaomi had a number of imaging flagships sent to DXOMARK for testing, such as Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi CC9 Pro Premium Edition, etc. These models were once topped by DXOMARK and became the best-performing imaging phone at that time.

There is no doubt that the Mi 12S Ultra will also be the best-performing imaging phone this year. The device has three rear cameras, including a super-large bottom main camera, an ultra-wide-angle and a periscope telephoto, and is expected to support OIS optical image stabilization.

Not only that, Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra has added Leica image algorithm, supports 8K movie master Leica video filter, supports Leica natural color and black and white filter and so on.

In terms of core configuration, the Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra uses a 2K AMOLED flexible curved screen with a hole in the middle, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ flagship processor, and supports a 67W wired flash charging.
