Google’s Switch to Android iOS app now supports switching to all Android 12 devices

We’ve reported in the past that Google’s Switch to Android app aims to make it easier for users to switch from an iPhone to an Android smartphone—including contacts, calendar, photos, and videos.

The app also tells its users how to turn off iMessage to be able to receive text messages on their new device and lets them connect to Apple’s iCloud to migrate the photo and video library to Android.

So far, the app could only be used for selected Android smartphones. Starting today, Google says support for the Switch to Android app on iOS will be extended to all Android 12 phones, allowing users to seamlessly transfer important information from their iPhone to their new Android device.
